Product Description

  1. Plug the 12 volt power adapter plug into the cigarette lighter. The impact wrench is ready for use.
  2. Always thread a screw or nut by hand to start it before tightening with an impact wrench.
  3. Put an appropriately sized socket wrench on the square retainer.
  4. Set the rotation selector to imprinted arrow "REV" for clockwise and imprinted arrow 'FWD' for counter- clockwise rotation.
  5. Press the on/off switch to turn the tool on.
  6. Release the switch to turn the tool off.

1) Work area safety

3) Power tool use and care

a) Do not use the power tool if the switch does not turn off. Any power tool that cannot be controlled with the switch is dangerous and must be repaired.

b) Store idle power tools out of the reach of children and do not allow persons unfamiliar with the power tool or these instructions to operate it.

Power tools are dangerous in the hands of untrained users.

c) Use the Impact Wrench, accessories and tool bits etc. in accordance with these instructions, taking into account the working conditions and the work to be performed. Use of the power tool for operations different from those intended could result in a hazardous situation.

Intended use

The impact wrench is designed to loosen and tighten vehicle lug nuts for tires. It is intended for occasional intermittent use, not commercial purposes.

Caution: This impact wrench only can be used on vehicles! It CANNOT be used on trucks.

DANGER to children 

  • This tool is not intended for use by children or people with lack of experience or knowledge about its safe use.
  • Keep children out of the work area to ensure they do not play with the appliance.
 

DANGER due to electricity 

  • Do not operate the tool if the impact wrench or the power cord shows visible signs of damage.
  • Only connect the tool to a correctly installed cigarette lighter adapter with 12V power.
  • Disconnect the plug from the cigarette lighter before cleaning parts of the tool, or if there is a problem with the tool.
  • Do not make any modifications to the tool. Repairs to the tool or power cord should be carried out by an authorized service technician.
  • Do not let the tool or power cord get wet. Never use the tool in the rain. Water penetrating an electrical device increases the risk of electric shock.
 

DANGER of accident 

  • Screws, nuts and bolts that have to be tightened to a specific torque should be tightened with a torque wrench once the wheel has been fitted in place. If you are in doubt as to the correct torque stipulated for your vehicle, consult your car manufacturer. The nuts should be tightened once more after driving a distance of approximately 50km.
 

Warning-risk of fire or explosion

  • Do not use the tool in potentially explosive environments containing combustible liquids, gases or dusts. Electrical tools generate sparks that can ignite the dust or vapours. Do not throw the tool into an open fire or water.
 

WARNING-risk of injury

  • Wear personal protective clothing such as protective gloves and hearing protection.
  • Do not wear loose clothing or jewellery. Keep hair, clothing and gloves well away from moving parts. Loose clothing, jewellery or long hair can get caught in the wrench’s motor.
 

CAUTION-material damage

Do not overload the tool. Do not apply excessive pressure to the impact wrench. If the screws cannot be moved and the wrench freezes, stop the operation. Either use a more powerful tool or continue with a manual wrench. Do not attempt to continue to turn the screw manually with the impact wrench.

 
  • Do not operate the tool for longer than a maximum of 10 minutes without interruption. Then take a 10 minute break to allow the wrench to cool down.
  • Do not operate the tool without a load at full speed for any length of time.
  • Do not use caustic, abrasive or solvent-based products for cleaning.
  • Prevent oil or oil products from entering the plastic casing. The chemicals they contain could corrode and damage the plastic.
  • Disposal of this product should only be done in accordance with the current regulations.
 

Operation 

CAUTION-material damage

DANGER-hazard of accident due to faulty screw connections

After tightening, check the screw connections for visible signs of damage

The Correct torque

DANGER of accident

    Screws, nuts and bolts that have to be tightened to a specific torque should be tightened with a torque wrench once the wheel has been fit into place. Consult your vehicle’s user manual for the correct torque rating for your vehicle. The nuts should be tightened once more after driving a distance of approximately 50km.

   We recommend impact 4-5 times to tighten the nuts. Constantly impacts more than 10 times, the torque can be reached 380N.M(280FT.LB).

 

Replacing the fuse

 
  1. To replace the fuse in the plug, twist off the upper cover.
  2. Remove the faulty fuse and insert a new one.
  3. Twist the upper cover back on the plug.

A spare fuse is enclosed in the case.

 

Care

Handle the tool and accessories with care and keep them clean to ensure a long service life.

 

DANGER-risk of fatal electric shock 

   Disconnect the tool from the cigarette lighter or battery before cleaning it.

  The power adapter must not be exposed to moisture. It must also be protected against splashes and dripping water.

 

CAUTION-material damage

  Do not use caustic, abrasive or solvent based products for cleaning.

  Use a soft, dry cloth to wipe the tool clean.

 Grease and oil-based grime must be immediately wiped off the tool and accessories with a slightly damp cloth.

Troubleshooting
